A clamor we miss around us

That’s the rhythm of her stirring

The clanking she unfurls

In the brewing canisters

And corridors and sitting places

Of our lives

She stirs vessels with the same

Tempo of her speaking

Hesitant first utterings

Followed by a fast dance

Of sung beats and phrases

Drummings on metal

Musical quiverings

Pilgrimages of butterflies

Our ears carried to the sky

That’s the sound of Saba

Fluttering to our hearts
