When The Glow Falls

. 1 .
Lines in the sky
Askew angular projections
Reflections of the afflictions of architecture
Moored in the stabilities of tension
Lines in the sky
Curves coiling carelessly
Circling the vast celestial dimension
Mired in the affinities of madness
. 2 .
Scattered multitudes
Glints and reversals
Sprinkled lights
Born and reborn again
Since when began what
And what began when
Unknowables
Unwritten in time
Unresolved and discarded
Epistles
. 3 .
I have doubt
All about
And throughout my spaces
I hold doubt, aloft
Like a crucial, dispensable
Shred of paper
I carry doubt
Around town
Like a clumsy basket of lemons
Atop my pricked shoulder
. 4 .
The limitations
Of what you can describe
The weaknesses
Within the margins you transcribe
The manipulation of you
When you attempt the manipulation of the world
With enumerations, enunciations,
Insufferable iterations
Of being
Who you are
. 5 .
How long will I have this time
To peer out into the dark nothingness
And listen to some bothersome squawking
Some dubious distant morning sound
The slamming of steel upon steel
Or onto the frozen natural ground
How long until the bridesmaid of drudgery
Throws her shackles at my feet once again
. 6 .
Tomorrow is already spent
With her collapsed legs and deleted arms
First they came for the space in your mind
Then they came for the faces, sublime
Then they came for the length of your lines
The ending will be your final forgetting
Of who you were
And who you are
